Jack & Chloe Watson of Peel have jointly won Manx National Heritage’s (MNH) Manx Cat Summer Challenge which was held at Cregneash and The Grove over the summer holidays.

Jack, age 12 and Chloe, age 10 are now the proud owners of their own cuddly Manx kittens whom they chose to call Jaffa and Coco respectively.

Also included in the prize were handmade feline themed wall hangings featuring the children’s names from local ceramist and artist Felicity Wood.

Delighted to come to the Manx Museum to collect their prize, Mum Claire Watson said:

“I just wanted to say thank you for treating Jack and Chloe. They were super excited and their cats are hanging with pride. My Dad and I also got joy out of seeing them. Thank you again for running your brilliant treasure hunts!”

Visitors to Cregneash and The Grove were offered the opportunity to take part in a Manx Cat Challenge where they had to find 9 cats, each with their own Manx name, who were hiding around the sites.

Jack and Chloe Watson’s entry was the lucky one to be drawn when the competition closed on September 8.
