Over 25 HSBC jobs at risk on Island

28 jobs at HSBC on the Isle of Man are to be placed at risk.

Due to a change in HSBC’s operational model, HSBC Expat international customers will now be supported by just one team overseas.

Prior to the changes these customers were supported by two teams, one which is based in the Isle of Man.

This change will mean that 29 jobs will be placed at risk, with 28 of those being in the Isle of Man and the other in Jersey.

A spokesperson for HSBC told Energy FM that it is “currently supporting colleagues who are impacted by these changes”.
