Fire service remind public to drive to conditions

The fire and rescue service are reminding drivers to drive to road conditions following a road traffic collision (RTC) this morning (November 30).

Crews from Douglas were dispatched earlier today to a road traffic collision (RTC) in the Santon area. 

There were no serious injuries and the incident was brought to a close quickly, although the road remained closed following the incident due to the presence of icy patches.

It is reminding the public that there is a continued weather warning in place due to near freezing temperatures across the island. 

Along with advising drivers to drive to the conditions and make sure that enough time is planned for trips.
