Charity trek raises over £500 for Junior Achievement

Sandra Georgeson has helped raise over £500 for Junior Achievement Isle of Man (JA IOM) by completing a charity trek in Jordan.

Georgeson who is Acclaim Limited’s Managing Director was part of a team of fundraisers who raised funds for the charity.

The exact total raised by the team had not been confirmed at the time of writing, but it is expected to be over £9,000.

Sandra said: “Visiting Petra had been on my bucket list for a long time, so when I heard about the JA IOM trek I knew I couldn’t miss the chance to realise my ambition, and at the same time raise funds for a charity that I value.

She added: “I must say a big thank you to the fantastic JA IOM team and my fellow trekkers, our guides, and of course everyone who generously donated to my and the team’s JustGiving pages.”

JA IOM have announced details of its 2024 Charity Trek which will be in Nepal from October 26 to November 3.
