Tributes paid to Captain of the Parish of Malew

Tributes have been paid to Captain of the Parish of Malew who has died at the age of 93. 

He worked as a farmer at Billown Farm for 70 years, retiring in November 2017.

Roy held the position Captain of the Parish of Malew since his appointment in 1996.

He was also president of the Isle of Man Billiards and Snooker Association. Members held a miniute's silence ahead of matches on Wednesday night.
