$460,000 prize up for grabs at chess event

Three of the world's top  chess players are among favourites to win the 114-player Fide Grand Swiss Chess event.

The event in Douglas will see the winner walk away with a $460,000 prize.

Two places in the 2024 Candidates, and a potential challenge to China’s world champion Ding Liren, are also at stake.

It's running until 6 November with players from 45 countries competing at the Villa Marina.
