A bakery on the Island says they are looking forward to the future.
Ross Bakery has been acquired by Robinsons.
The company has announced plans to build and open a new bakery early next year.
In a statement, Ross Bakery said: "We are very excited to be going on this journey with Robinsons, they have been a big supporter of the bakery over the years and are of huge importance to the local food scene here on the IOM. This is a really positive move for the Island."
"It will be business as usual while we build the new bakery so expect to see the bread in all the usual places as normal."
The bakery was opened five years ago in Ballasalla.
