Fynodoree thanks Shoprite following the supermarket takeover

Local distillery, Fynodoree expressed its gratitude to Shoprite for ‘stalwart support’ and for being a ‘fantastic advocate for food and drink producers in the Isle of Man’.

The thanks comes after yesterdays (October 9) news that all Shoprite stores have been bought by Tesco.

Fynoderee added that the store has been ‘instrumental in ensuring’ that its range of premium Manx spirits have been made accessible across the Isle of Man.

It said: “Their support has also provided a catalyst in helping promote the ‘Fyn’ brand in the UK and beyond, for the broader benefit of our local economy.

“We have a series of exciting new products planned so we look forward to hopefully working constructively in a similar fashion with Tesco over the coming weeks and months.”
