Motorcyclist trapped under car in Douglas crash

 A motorcyclist was taken to hospital following a crash in Douglas on Monday.

Emergency services were called to Tromode Road at just before 1pm.

The rider of the motorcycle was trapped under the vehicle by the legs.

Using a combination of high pressure airbags and hydraulic jaks the vehicle was lifted and the rider then passed in to the care of the ambulance service.

The riders injuries are not thought to be serious.
