Local producer, Angelica Belle was yesterday (August 1) awarded three Great Taste Awards for it’s biscuits.
The Great Taste Awards judges the produce on a “great taste, regardless of branding and packaging”. If the product is deemed to be “truly great” it will then receive up-to three stars.
Angelica Belle’s Almond and Lemon biscuits and Orange Amaretti biscuits won two stars, which in the eyes of the judges means “outstanding”, with less than 10% of all entries receiving this rating.
The producers plant based Almond and Lemon amaretti biscuits won one star – making them “simply delicious”.
Husband and wife duo, Chris and Andrea, have combined their wealth of hospitality and private yachting experience to offer a Concierge Service and create these gourmet goods.
The pair will be promoting their awards at this year’s Food and Drink Festival to be held later in the year, along with plans to exhibit off island at Great Taste events.
