Witness appeal after man assaulted

Police are appealing for witnesses after a serious assault in Douglas.

It happened at around 3am on Monday on Barrack Street near to the Outback Nightclub.

A male was assaulted and received a serious injury to his face which required Hospital treatment.

Enquiries are currently ongoing to establish the full circumstances of the assault.

Police are appealing for any witnesses to come forward.
