MGP: Browne fastest in curtailed qualifying session

Mike Browne posted the quickest Lightweight lap of the week so far with a lap of 113.486mph the second qualifying session of the Manx Grand Prix last night.

That put him ahead of teammate Ian Lougher and James Hind (Dennis Trollope Racing), whilst it was Francesco Curinga (ILR/Coverdale Paton) and Stefano Bonetti (Peter Beugger Racing Paton) who topped the Junior and Classic Senior leaderboards respectively with laps of 112.773mph and 104.800mph.

Due to Monday's cancelled sessions, today (Wednesday 24 August) will see a revised schedule, allowing for an additional qualifying session.

Roads will close tomorrow at 12.30 until 16.30, and again at 18.00 until 21.00.
