Series of evening closures on Mountain Road for works

A series of evenign closures will take place on the A18 Mountain Road next month.
 
The Department of Infrastructure intends to undertake seasonal maintenance work on the Mountain Road.
 
The entire Mountain Road from Ramsey Hairpin to Creg-ny-Baa will be closed from Monday 15 to Saturday 20 August (inclusive) between 6.15pm and 10.15pm.
 
 The main task is weed spraying, hedge cutting and strimming the verges (especially to ensure that the roadside verge masters are clear and unobstructed).
 
The Mountain matrix signs will be used to keep the travelling public updated.
