Police issue fines to drivers ignoring restrictions in Castletown

Police are warning drivers in Castletown to park responsibly.

Officers from the Southern Neighbourhood Policing Team have been issuing fines to motorists not adhering to parking restrictions on Bank Street and Malew Street.

They said it is vital that this area is kept clear of obstructions as with the upcoming road closures for Southern 100 and TT Races, this area will be an access route for emergency services in Castletown.

Regular enforcement checks will be carried out by police and partner agencies.
