Road repairs and TV licences to be discussed in Tynwald

TV licencing and maintenance of the Island roads will be discussed in Tynwald this morning.

A Deputy President of Tynwald will be appointed and Chief Minister Alfred Cannan will move approve appoints of key members to government committees and authorities.

Speaker of the House of Keys Juan Watterson will move a motion that recognises the existence of relative poverty on our Island, and the struggle of those on low incomes.

This morning's sitting will underway in Douglas today from 10.30am.
