Emergency services responding to incident in Castletown

UPDATED: Police say it is not believed that anyone has ended up in any danger or entered the water. The public are still encouraged to make contact if they have any useful information regarding the adult male and two children.

 

Emergency services are dealing with an incident in the Quay in Castletown.

Isle of Man Constabulary says its received a report that an adult male and two children who were in the area have disappeared from view from a bystander at around 4:50pm.

A search is underway in the area with officers saying it is highly likely they may have left the area.

Members of the public are being urged to stay away from the area.

Anyone with information is urged to contact Police Headquarters immediately.
